Questions

Straight answers.

Almost never. The ERP usually holds the truth; the problem is that nobody outside it can see what they need. Portals, integration and operational tooling around the ERP are typically far better value than replacing it.

Most carriers offer tracking APIs or file-based feeds. Where one does not, we handle it defensively with scheduled polling and reconciliation. We will confirm feasibility per carrier during discovery.

Only if it is faster than what they do now. That is why we shadow the real task first — including gloves, cold stores and poor connectivity — before designing screens.

Then that is the first problem to solve, and we will say so. Building visibility on top of bad data just makes the inaccuracy more visible to customers.
